2011 Ford Fiesta RundownYou all remember the old Ford Fiesta.

Who doesn't? It was Ford's version of the Honda Civic; cheap, ugly, and good gas mileage. But it died off and no one really cared too much. It was replaced by cars such as the Ford Focus, which has done very well.

But times are changing and a lot of people want smaller cars that have all the bells and whistles of their larger counterparts. Ford understood this and decided to reanimate one of its dead. Enter the 2011 Ford Fiesta. Re-made, re-built, re-cool.

The new Fiesta is definitely a car that you'll notice when you drive down the road. All of its color options, save black, and bright and cheery and demand attention. The car seems to get its styling cues from the new Mazda 6 (even though Ford dropped them) and the Aston Martin DB5 tail end.
2011 Ford Fiesta RundownFord's website features a pretty loud yet interesting page about the Fiesta with many video interviews and opinions from those who were lucky enough to road test it. Further scrutiny reveals that Ford is hinting at some of the possible features the Fiesta might sport: Sync, a turbocharger, upgraded suspension, ambient lighting (a la Kia Soul), and a Sony audio system. All great options, but its anyones guess if all of them will be available when the car is released again in the US in early 2010.
